Dear Suzanne....my ex fiance's sister died.. I found out, yesterday by seeing it online, no one bothered to tell me... when i was dating him, Sharon treated me like a real sister, his grandparents like a real grandchild, his parents like a real daughter... i almost married the idiot just to be with his family, but he start reaching out and pulling my hair or pushing me, totally out of the blue and then all the 'sorries' and roses and I researched it immediately, through the woman's center and learned about THE CIRCLE OF ABUSE...as a mental illness men can have... he went to counseling ...because he loved me and loved himself even more, but I realized God didn't want me to be with him,..... One day, I was simply opening the screen door to his house and the sun shone in my eyes, ... a thought came to me, just like I was being shown something....and then I knew I wasn't supposed to go in that direction, and it was hard, but I broke it off with him, after dating him ten years.... AND yesterday...her death made me realize, I need to go back to eating raw veggies for breakfast, and a big salad for lunch...and I felt strongly after prayer that I should suggest that breakfast and lunch routine to you, dear Suzanne.

I think that is a great idea, but is it sustainable over the long term? Prior to surgery and by necessity afterwards, I am to eat protein first, followed by veggies, with carbs last. I need to start with the most nutrient dense food first. They don't want us to drink our veggies after surgery, because it will go right through the pouch, digesting too quickly and makes room for us to overeat other foods. It tricks our body and is a bad habit to get into. I do love egg omelettes with spinach, broccoli, peppers and onions. I love all veggies! Salads are great at lunch, provided I have protein at every meal and snack. This causes us to feel satiated, and is what they recommend for me. Tell me some breakfast ideas you have in mind? I studied the sugar substitute you mentioned, the syrup? I found out that it breaks down with baking and cooking and should only be used in recipes where it is not heated. Still struggling with my sweet tooth, but can cook just about anything from scratch. Your thoughts on this? On a side note, if you would like to go to the funeral, maybe I can take you?

I've been doing it since July 1976..It's called relearning one's eating habits/rotine, it gives you lots of energy and a stronger sense of well being, makes more positive feelings, improves stamina, makes you feel super full, and cleans out your body of built up toxins, and continues to maintain good health... and veggie sources of protein are absorbed better and more easily than a lot of meat... most meat is pretty loaded with toxins....and it's yummy flavors come from seasonings that can be used at home and are added to store bought vegan meat and taste so real it could fool you, but without the stress on kidneys to break it down. God has given us so much variety of veggies, sea veggies, root veggies, ground, and tree plants, herbs spices, that we could never get bored and there must be a reason for so much variety of flavors and colors, it's 'cause HE expects us to eat them, every day, every meal...and they have more protein than meat...imagine having a big rainbow colored salad... every color veggie in it, providing lots of vitamins, healthy fats. fiber, some luscious homemade salad dressing BURSTING with flavor, and with really cool toppings loaded with protein, ..and a pitcher of herbal tea sangria, non alcoholic.... and a chia pudding desert, and a mid meal snack of protein shake made with a low carb low sugar recipe, and a casserole for dinner made with a low carb low sugar recipe, with steamed veggie side dishes, and a slice of low sugar fruit...you are extremely full, satiated, and your body starts losing weight until you are a healthy weight and then stops...it simply heals itself.....

so protein first. then fiber...well...BEFORE YOU HAVE THE SURGERY start developing different eating habits, and really increase your food intake but only using tons of veggies with protein and fats, at every meal.... veggies are naturally low cal, high fiber high vitamin....and extremely filling...FOR EXAMPLE,
1/2 cup cooked steel-cut oats 1 Tablespoon of each protein source : Grind in clean coffee bean grinder: sunflower seed pumpkin seed ground white chia seed ground flax seed white sesame seed unsweetened coconut flakes your choice of one kind of ground up nut...walnut, or cashew, or macadamia, or brazil, or pistachio, or peanut, or, pecan, or hazelnut. one teaspoon Manitoba Hemp seed protein powder [it's vanilla flavored and one of the most easily digested sources] one teaspoon Activated barely- [a nutrient dense food source]
1 teaspoon coconut oil mixed in with already cooked oats[absolutely necessary]
one teaspoon, spirulina two tablespoons unsweetended cashew cream, made from nuts and water in vitamix.
steel-cut oats have a lower glycemic index than rolled oats [and forget instant oatmeal] (42 versus 66, respectively), causing a smaller insulin spike when consumed. You can add lots of ground up chia seed, some coconut oil, and some Manitoba vanilla Hemp protein powder, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and some homemade cream made from nuts and water, to slow the spiking even more..and it tastes really yummy that way, too. And you can add your yacon syrup on top, after it's cooked... at serving time.

in the pic additional whole seeds were added for crunch, that's optional, stir in the powered ingredients before eating.

every ingredients except the oil, is a protein source,

i put half cup cooked oats in recipe but you can use one full cup... and a cup of coffee... not a mug, just a small cup.... goes well with it, and use stevia or yacon, to sweeten it, and use homemade cashew creamer with it... that's important.... it's more nutritious than dairy...more filling... also you can try adding half a teaspoon of food grade Diatomacious Earth, to it, and stir well, before each sip....this will help clean up plaque build up in the intestines that prevents nutrient absorption...When our bodies don't get enough nutrients, they go into a kind of starvation mode and start using all your caloric intake no matter how small... to make fat, increase fat cells....That's why some people get fatter while dietting...I got my DE-diatomacious earth from amazon... it came in a cannister , not a bag... and i put a half teaspoon in my coffee or iced coffee.

because the stomach shrink is not what will make you lose the weight you want to... Changing what you eat every day will....and tat takes self discipline and the knowledge of knowing what to eat, how to eat, relearning the way you eat, and changing dietary habits. Even with a smaller stomach, you could eat fattening foods, that are too high in protein, too high in sugar, not high enough in healthy fats, and not high enough in fiber. Many people gain wait, or don't lose the weight they want because they start eating low fat or fat free, when actually, in order to lose weight our bodies need more of the healthy fats in our diet... Just telling you t eat protein first is too vague an instruction for you... there are so many good and bad kinds... that's why I created that HIGH PROTEIN OATMEAL RECIPE, above, in the previous message...

Where do you find all your ingredients for the high protein oatmeal? I'd like to try it! The diatomaceous earth supplement helps with nutrient absorption? That will be critical after surgery, when my stomach is 85% smaller!

They so stress healthy fats, but they don't differentiate between the types of protein are best.
